The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF), Knott County Tourism and the RMEF's Daniel Boone Chapter are sponsoring an Elk Expo and Banquet September 12 and 13, 2008 at the Sportsplex. The event will be open on September 12 from 5pm to 9pm and on September 13 from 8am to 5pm. There will be vendors, concessions, seminars, elk tours, elk shed scoring contest, children's activities, the Moron Brothers, Tim Farmer and much more! The Sportsplex will be hosting four Wood Bat Classic Baseball Tournaments beginning on August 9, 2008. Entry is open to the first four teams in each division. Teams will play a round-robin style tournament to determine the winner. To enter your team or for more information call Scott Cornett at 606-368-6119.

You've worked out all winter, now you need that perfect tan for the summer! You can get it all right here at your Knott County Sportsplex! We have just installed five brand new Wolff tanning beds. Daily visits will cost $5.00 per visit. Monthly passes will be available for $50.00. Annual passes are also available for $150.00. Monthly and annual passes are for unlimited use of the tanning beds.
